Check Your Language is a campaign I created upon learning of the poor mental health status of adolescent migrant populations. A simple change in the way we speak when referring to migrants or migration can improve the lives of so many young people.

I created a video designed to spark attention on the subject by presenting a situation that is very relatable from both perspectives. I also designed posters with the idea that not only do we not realize the power of our words, but we also cannot begin to understand a migrant's 'side of the story' or experience. A concept for wearable merchandise was included to show how the campaign could expand and become a part of street fashion.
