
The ask.
Develop a brand identity for the 2021 WSM competition that compliments the look & feel of the Old Sacramento Waterfront, with the theme ''Wild Wild West'. Creative assets included a location specific logo treatment, event signage, athlete shirts, credentials, directional signage and a social media toolkit for event content.

The location.
I began by researching the Old Sacramento Waterfront: the location of the 2021 competition. I drew inspiration from the California State Railroad Museum, the Delta King Hotel, and the storefront colors/signage for typography & color palette.


The logo.
Each competition year has its own identity, including a logo mark & color palette that reflects the event location & WSM brand. With this year's location being Old Sacramento, the Tower Bridge was the perfect visual to highlight the location in a bold, iconic way.
